The more you know, the more you discover you don’t know.

The world is changing rapidly.  This generation is confronting many unprecedented uncertainties and challenges: climate changes, overpopulation, nuclear waste, global power shift, consolidation of international laws and international relations, and an incredible free flow (and the handling) of information.  All of these challenges will directly affect each and every one of us.

Yet, most of us are oblivious to the changes.

Despite the large-scale democratization movement spearheaded by the western superpowers coupled with the Internet providing the foreseeable ability to realize a complete and true democracy,  the daunting task of dealing with these challenges remains to be in the hands of the elites.

The media provides a narrow, myoscopic view of the world, should one bother to look at it.  Yet, the Internet has given all of us the ability to collect different lenses and form a better picture of reality, the challenges, the problems…

Blables.com hopes to facilitate this movement of generating a public awareness of reality.

Ideas are the sparks of all actions.  Philosophers like Plato, Locke, Rousseau and the likes are the foundations of the liberalization of today’s world.  Shouldn’t there be more philosophers today than any time in history, as there are much less restrictions of thought, education, religious conviction, and social conflicts?

We hope to harness an audience of philosophers by painting a clearer picture of reality than what is presented in the single lens of a single media.
